Here's how it works
Getting Started
What the course covers, what you need before you begin, and why a playlist is worth the work.
Building The Playlist
The genre, the name, the artwork and the songs. All of it decides whether somebody keeps the playlist or scrolls past it.
The Ads
What a good playlist ad looks like, and how I build one from a blank timeline.
Running The Campaign
The landing page, the pixel, the campaign build, and what to do with the numbers after.
Keep releasing
Once it's growing, your own songs go on it every time you release, right next to artists people already came to hear.
The whole thing, on my screen
Artists pay me $750 to build and grow a playlist for them. I got tired of writing the same long replies, so I recorded the whole thing instead. No theory, no slides. You watch the playlist get built, the ad get cut, and the campaign launched.
The longest lesson is 17 minutes inside Meta Ads Manager, because that's where most people quietly go wrong.

A playlist is one of the few things you own outright
It sits on your Spotify profile. The followers are yours, and it keeps working on the weeks you're busy writing or on tour. It changes how other people deal with you too: artists want on it, and other curators want to trade with you.
What the ads produce
These are the same figures I quote on my done-for-you page, because the course teaches the same campaign. Your ad budget is paid straight to Meta through your own account.
$150 a month
Around 275 to 950 new followers and 100 to 400 new listeners a month.
$500 a month
Around 950 to 3,100 new followers and 375 to 1,250 new listeners a month.
Playlists I built and grew with this exact system
The first one is mine and the rest are artists I ran this for, all of them on my case studies page. These numbers are the floor, so what you see today is the same or better. Look at the daily spend before anything else.

Grayson’s playlist has been running on ten dollars a day since October 2025, and module 4 is where I set that campaign up on screen. See all of them on my case studies page.

I got on a call with each of them and asked to see the dashboards. These are those calls, uncut, with the Spotify and curator numbers on screen while they talk.
Free promotion for his own songs
$5 a day, and almost 10,000 streams in a month
He's got eight of his own songs on his playlist. In the month we looked at, those songs pulled almost 10,000 streams, and his profile is on Discover Weekly and Radio off the back of it. He spends five dollars a day on the ads and says he gets at least a hundred dollars back from streams alone.
“I'm basically paid back, and it's like free promotion of my music to the audience who like it.”
The playlist paying for itself
2 euros a day, and over $1,000 back as a curator
He runs his playlist on two euros a day at ten cents per follower. Six of his own songs on it bring around 2,000 streams a month. On the curator side he's passed $1,000 across SubmitHub, Playlist Push, Groover and direct submissions, which is more than the ads cost him.
“So that's why I'm really happy and excited to see the future.”

Free updates
When I add lessons later they show up in your dashboard and you pay nothing more.
Optional monetization module
Module 5 turns the playlist into income, and you can add it whenever you want.
Module 6, free with the course, worth $99 on its own
Turning Playlists Into Fans
Growing a playlist gets you followers. The next part is turning those listeners into people who know your name and come back for your next release, and almost nobody bothers with it.
4 parts, 50 m in total. I made this one free so money is never the reason you miss it.
Every dollar you spend pitching goes to somebody who owns a playlist
When you submit a song, you pay to be considered, and the person on the other side gets paid whether they add you or not. I've been on the receiving end of that for years, so at some point I stopped knocking and built the thing people knock on.
You don't need my audience to do this. One of my students runs his playlist on five dollars a day, and the eight of his own songs on it pulled almost 10,000 streams in a single month.
Renting somebody else’s audience
- You pitch your song to playlists and wait for somebody else to say yes.
- You pay curators for a listen, and most of the time nothing comes of it.
- Your ad budget goes out every release and leaves nothing behind that you keep.
- Your career sits on platforms that belong to other people.
Owning the playlist yourself
- Your playlist plays your music first, every time you release.
- Musicians submit their songs to you, and the platforms pay you to listen.
- The money you spend on ads builds something that stays yours.
- You decide what goes on it, and nobody can take it off you.
Optional, $39
Making Money From The Playlist
Modules 1 to 4 build a playlist that grows. This one turns it into income: the platforms that pay curators to review songs, how to raise what they pay you, and the automations that take the repetitive part off your hands.
The platforms pay fifty cents to fifteen dollars a song. I spend about an hour a day on submissions and it brings in over $4,000 a month, which is what pays for the ads that keep the playlists growing. I've reviewed over 50,000 submissions as a curator, so this module opens with the legal side first, because that's what people get wrong.
You can add it at checkout for $39, or from inside the course later for the same price. Waiting costs you nothing.

This is you if
- You want something in your music career that belongs to you and keeps growing after you stop working on it.
- You want your own songs somewhere people already listen, instead of asking strangers for placements.
- You can put at least $150 a month behind ads, on top of the course.
- You'd rather learn this once than pay somebody every time you want a playlist.
- You're fine spending an evening watching screen shares and taking notes.
Skip it if
- You want somebody else to build and grow the playlist for you. I do that too, and it's $750 for my work on top of your ad budget.
- You're looking for a way to grow a playlist without spending anything on ads. Module 3 covers what you can do for free, and it's slower than most people are willing to accept.
- You want to buy playlist placements for your song rather than own the playlist. That's a different thing, and my directory of curators is free.

“You've given me an entirely new income stream that I was completely unaware of, which has been super helpful.”
“I got just under 5,000 streams last month for my own music with four songs on there. It's really helping and feels like the best strategy in terms of time and money.”
“I placed my own song on the playlist and, after some time, the whole thing started rolling.”

The rest of it
Why would anyone follow my playlist?
Because of the songs on it and the way it's presented, which is what module 2 is about. The genre, the name, the artwork and the first five songs decide whether somebody who lands on it keeps it. Get those wrong and no budget saves you.
I've never run an ad in my life.
Module 3 starts with a lesson for exactly that, and then I build an ad on my screen from an empty timeline. Module 4 is the campaign itself, click by click, including the pixel setup that most people skip and then wonder why their numbers make no sense.
Is this allowed?
Growing your own playlist with ads is your own promotion, and I've been doing it publicly for years. The part where money changes hands has rules worth understanding, which is why module 5 opens with a lesson on where the line sits.
How is this different from Label Level Ads?
Label Level Ads puts money behind one song so people hear that song. This one builds a playlist you own and grows it, which is a different campaign with a different landing page and a different way of measuring it. A lot of people end up doing both.
How long do I keep it?
You keep it. There's no subscription and no expiry. If I add lessons later, they show up in your dashboard and you pay nothing more.
Do you give refunds?
No. The course is digital and you get every lesson the moment you pay, so there are no refunds. Everything you're buying is listed on this page, and if you want to check something first you can email me before you buy.
How much do I need to spend on ads?
From $150 a month, which is about $5 a day. You can go lower, but the campaign gathers data slowly and it takes much longer to see whether it's working.
Whose name is the playlist under?
Yours. It sits on your Spotify profile, the followers are yours, and you keep all of it. I only show you how to build and grow it.
Do I need a website?
No. Module 4 builds the landing page from scratch on a free tool, in about nine minutes.
Can I add the monetization module later?
Yes. It's $39 at checkout and $39 from inside the course afterwards, so waiting costs you nothing.
Does this work outside Spotify?
The course is built around Spotify, because that's where playlist following behaves the way this system needs. Module 5 covers listing the same playlist on the other platforms once it exists.
Anything else, email me at finch@finchbergling.com. I answer these myself.
