Scrollywood is run by More Than Streams LTD, a Bulgarian company, and in practice by me, Finch Bergling. This page says what the tool collects, why, who else handles it, and how to get it deleted. Questions go to finch@scrollywood.com.
What I collect and why
Only what the tool needs to do its job, and only because you gave it to me:
- Your email address. It is your login. I use it to send the login link, the "your videos are ready" email and a few emails about the tool itself. If you sign in with Google, Google tells me the email address on your Google account and nothing else is used.
- What you put into the tool: clips, songs, hooks, lyrics, song details and batch names, plus the videos the tool makes from them. They are used to make what you asked for and nothing else. The hook writer, the Scout and the Director send the text you type to OpenAI to produce their answers. The story behind the song sends the voice recording you give it to OpenAI, so its words can be written on screen as you say them. Your other clips and your songs never go to any AI provider; only my rendering server sees them.
- Your plan and billing status, so the tool knows what you can do. Card and billing details go to Stripe and never reach me.
- Anonymous page counts from Google Analytics. Scrollywood sets no analytics cookie, so these are counts, not a record of you.
I do not sell your data and I run no advertising trackers on Scrollywood.
Connecting Instagram or TikTok
Scrollywood can offer to post the videos it makes to your own Instagram or TikTok account. This is optional and off until you connect an account. If you do: I receive your account name, profile picture, account id, and a key that lets the tool publish on your behalf. Nothing else, no messages, no followers, no reading your feed. The key is used only to post the videos you chose, with the captions you approved, at the times you set, and each post is one you saw and confirmed in the tool.
To end it and delete that data: press Disconnect inside Scrollywood, remove Scrollywood in your Instagram or TikTok settings, or email finch@scrollywood.com. Any of those deletes the key and any posts not yet published.
Who else handles it
Companies that run parts of the tool for me, each getting only what its part needs: Vercel (hosting and rendering), Upstash (database), UploadThing (file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend and Zoho (email), OpenAI (the hook writer, the Scout, the Director and the words written on screen in the story behind the song), Google (sign-in and anonymous page counts), and Instagram or TikTok if you connect an account. Some are in the United States and work under the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long I keep it
Uploads and finished videos are cleaned up on a schedule: 7 days on the free plan and 30 days on a paid plan, as the terms say. Your account, its text and its settings stay for as long as you have the account. Orders and invoices stay for as long as Bulgarian accounting law requires (ten years).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, get a copy, or object to how I use it. To delete your account and everything in it, email finch@scrollywood.com from your login address and I will do it within a month. You can also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or the data protection authority in your own country.
